Educational Assistant (K–6)
Position Overview
The Hardisty Community Charter School Association is seeking a caring, flexible, and student-focused Educational Assistant (EA) to support student learning within a dynamic K–6, multi-grade environment. Working closely with classroom teachers, the successful candidate will support students’ academic achievement, social development, and emotional well-being while helping to foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment aligned with the school’s Entrepreneurial Learning Framework, which emphasizes leadership, resilience, financial literacy, and problem-solving skills.
Hardisty Community Charter School is a K–6 public charter school serving the Town of Hardisty and surrounding rural area. The school delivers the Alberta Programs of Study through an Entrepreneurial Learning Framework that develops leadership, resilience, financial literacy, and problem-solving skills, preparing students for success in their communities and beyond.

Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Assistant Certificate or related training/experience preferred
- Experience working with children in an educational or youth setting is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to support diverse learners with patience, empathy, and flexibility
- Commitment to inclusive, student-centered education
- Ability to work effectively in a small, rural school environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate as part of a team
- Positive, adaptable, and proactive approach
- Ability to build strong relationships with students
